Ground Studio Landscape Architecture
during my time at Ground Studio, I helped the branding transition to a new company name and oversaw the newsletters, socials, and more.
Ground Studio Landscape managed its Instagram account from a single employee’s phone. Despite being centrally located in downtown Monterey, said employee worked remote from Vancouver and thus the account had not been updated in over a year.
I created a posting schedule, hashtag strategy, and set up Hootsuite scheduling software (at the time best practice) and within a short time doubled follower count. As I followed other ventures, the associate who took over my role still follows the pillars of my initial strategy for the firm.

The ethos of their design work flowed through print media, social media, and garden design.
Linda Arceo Music & Yes! Media
Linda Arceo and her band were the primary focus of my social media content creation with Yes! Media.
Our team kept a cohesive website, social media, and fan club to promote Linda Arceo. Making sure the calendar and performance dates and times were accurate, accessible, and stylish within the branding was very important.
Being a local musician, understanding Monterey County and its unique marketing demographics was key to a great newsletter and SEO strategy. Many of Linda Arceo’s fans are not of the “digital generation” and therefore clear communication and maintenance of that communication kept the seats packed for each concert.
Art Business Instagram
My own artist business and presence, Meheen Ruby Art, is a lifelong creative venture. I am a huge believer of artists with day jobs and therefore have purposefully not created a robust automated system of posts to go viral, instead catering to my loyal hyper-local and community global audience. My social media strategy with my own art business has been much closer to personal blogging, however I do utilize my art and design skills to make my own posts consistent to my uniquely branded aesthetic.
